.....My name is Jasen, and yes I know my name is spelt wrong. Spell check on my computer reminds me all the time. Any ways I blame my parents but that’s okay. You see, in high school I got this really original nickname (Jasen With An “E”) it kind of stuck and now I’ve got a website of the same name. This like any other website is to offer information and provide an outlet to showcase what I do. And what is that exactly…

.....In 1995 a friend and mentor of mine wrote a song called Faith, Truth and Love. I was amazed that someone I knew wrote such a deep and meaningful song. I wanted to do that too. I started writing songs and with his help started to learn piano. I now have written more songs than I can count, some I like a lot, some that need a lot of work. At any rate I write and perform Christian music. What does that mean? It means it’s about Christ. The thing I love about Christian music is... It's a belief... Not a genre... I can play any style I want and as long as the message is about Christ it will still be Christian music. A friend once told me “the thing I hate about Christian music is every song is about one thing” but the “one thing” I sing about is Everything!

.....I always thought I was a Christian since I was a good person and grew up going to church. I learned that wasn't quite what it meant to be Christian.

.....To be a Christian you need a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and so with that I gave my life to Christ. I continued going to church and with the right friends and family I have learned to use my talents for Gods glory. I started writing Christian Contemporary Music before I even knew it was in concerts and on CD. Now I'm in the process to get my music on the radio and in your hands.

.....I believe Jesus died for our sins and through him I'm saved. I also believe you can not be saved through your parents, your pastor or even a Christian musician. Again you are saved through your own personal relationship with Jesus.
